NSide products are 2x2/2x2x2 and/or sidedress additives, to be mixed with 28% or 32% UAN. Utilizing nutrient uptake information on pages 16 and 17, we will personalize a recommendation that utilizes NSide products to satisfy nutrient demand. NSide products are integral to TAPS and building plant nutrient levels can be partially achieved through NSide products.
NKreaSe™ was created from direct requests by you, our loyal customers! The combination of two of our top selling products, SideAgVantage™ Max and SideMate™, come together to form NKreaSe™ for 2025!
2/3 SideMate + 1/3 SideAgVANTAGE Max
Added Convenience!
→ For those using both SideMate and SideAgVantage Max in the past, you now have the space saving convenience of one product.
Nitrogen, Potassium, Sulfur
→ Referred to as the 3-legged stool of protein, this combination of N-K-S provides the building blocks to push yields to new levels.
→ Both corn and wheat require large amounts of potassium during the vegetative stages of growth when much of soil resident K is tied up due to dry soil conditions. The potassium acetate in NKreaSe™ requires only 23.3% soil humidity to remain soluble and available for plant uptake compared to potassium chloride in 0-0- 60, requiring 85% soil moisture to be plant available.
Humic Acid and Fulvic Acid
→ Humic Acid is effective at buffering other nutrients with strong electronegativity, (Ex: Magnesium) while increasing the uptake of potassium included in the formulation
→ Fulvic Acid is known to energize soil bioactivity which results in increased nutrient utilization, specifically improving the uptake and efficiency of soil native phosphorus
NanoBond 4Z Is Proven to Add ROI in UAN
→ Precision Planting 2 year data set when adding nanoliquid technology to UAN is +6.6 Bu./A. or $31.11/A. ROI!
→ Beck’s PFR 2 year data set when adding nanoliquid technology to UAN in a 2x2x2 application was +7 bu./A., replicated across 3 states
NKreaSe™ may be applied in 2x2/2x2x2 in UAN at 1-6 gal./A. and at sidedress applications through both middle of the row and Y-Drops in UAN at 1-6 gal./A.
2X2/2x2x2: 1-6 gal./A.
SIDEDRESS/Y-Drop: 1-6 gal./A.
NKreaSe™ may be applied in topdressed or streamer bar UAN. The most common rate is 2 gal./A. in each nitrogen pass. If applying all nitrogen in one application, the most common rate is 4 gal./A.
Sulfur is important! It maximizes nitrogen efficiency and creates synergies with potassium and nitrogen to produce proteins essential for crop growth. It can be challenging to apply efficiently because sulfate is water soluble and moves freely with soil water, making it susceptible to loss through leaching during Spring rainfall events. It sure would be nice if someone would make Thio-Sulfate with faster and more efficient plant uptake! Well, that’s exactly what we did!
A high Sulfur load UAN additive that can be used beside the row, sidedress, Y-Drop or topdress applications. SideMate is designed to take the place of Ammonium Thiosulfate (ATS) with several distinct advantages!
SideMate™ increases yields due to the unique delivery system and a proprietary mix of readily available ingredients!
It Contains Sulfur in the Form of Ammonium Thiosulfate
→ Sulfur maximizes nitrogen use efficiency.
It Contains NanoBond™, NanoLiquid Technology, Proven to Increase ROI in UAN
→ At Beck’s Practical Farm Research in 2022, the addition of NanoLiquid™ technology to UAN had a positive ROI of $9.05/A., while increasing yield 2.5 Bu./A.
→ At the Precision Technology Institute (PTI) in 2022, the addition of NanoLiquid™ technology to UAN showed a positive ROI of $11.18/A., increasing yield 2.9 Bu./A.
It contains Fulvic Acid
→ Fulvic Acid is known to energize soil bioactivity which results in increased nutrient utilization, specifically improving the uptake and efficiency of Phosphorus.
SideMate™ may be applied in 2x2/2x2x2 in UAN at 1-4 gal./A. and at Sidedress through both middle of the row applications and Y-Drops in UAN at 1-4 gal./A.
2X2/2x2x2: 1-4 gal./A.
SIDEDRESS/Y-Drop: 1-4 gal./A.
SideMate™ may be applied in topdressed or streamer bar UAN at 1-4 gal./A. with each Nitrogen application
TopDress: 1-4 gal./A. with each Nitrogen application
A product with multiple uses in several crops can certainly drive adoption. But, for SideAgVantage™ Max, it is really its ability to both fit into an overall Sulfur management strategy and its ability to address specific crop challenges that make it one of our customer’s favorite solutions for higher yields!
A UAN additive that can be used beside the row or in sidedress, Y-Drop or topdress applications.
Sulfur
→ Sulfur maximizes nitrogen use efficiency.
→ It reduces N loss from leaching, volatilization and denitrification.
Humic Acid & Fulvic Acid
→ Effective at buffering other nutrients with strong electronegativity, (Ex: Magnesium) while increasing the uptake of potassium included in the formulation
→ Improved soil structure and pore space in the band of application
→ Fulvic Acid is known to energize soil bioactivity which results in increased nitrogen utilization
Potassium in the most readily available form
→ Potassium Acetate requires only 23.3% soil humidity to remain soluble, ready for plant uptake. In
comparison, Potassium Chloride (0-0-60) requires 85% soil humidity to remain soluble.
→ Both corn and wheat require large amounts of potassium uptake during the vegetative stages of
growth when much of soil resident K is tied up due to dry soil condition

Convenience and sound agronomics come together to form this soil applied product helping to meet the demand for both Zinc and Boron in today’s high yield corn environments!
A custom blend of both Zinc and Boron that provides the added convenience of one product instead of two.
Both Zinc and Boron are needed throughout the season making spoon feeding the best approach to high yield management of these two critical nutrients.
→ VE-V4: Only 7% of the Zinc is needed and 6% of the Boron. Ironically, this is when the majority of Zinc has been applied in the past.
→ V6-V13: 38% of the Zinc is needed and 56% of the Boron, making sidedress applications a more appropriate time for the majority of ZnB.
Zinc is critical for starch and seed formation
Boron is necessary during pollination in aiding in silk elongation and kernel retention
ZnB was formulated to be mixed in UAN as a soil applied application.
2x2/2x2x2: 1-2 qt./A.
Sidedress/Y-Drop: 1-3 qt./A.
In 2024, the world soybean yield record was smashed again by the very farmer out of Georgia who set the record in 2023, 218.2856 bu./A.! He beat last year’s record by over 11 bu./A.! Many different treatments were utilized, two of which we cannot duplicate... Georgia sunlight and irrigation. However, the use of Y-drops can be implemented by Midwestern farmers, which was part of the overall 206+ bushel system. This was the impetus for our 2x2x2 and Y-Drop treatment trial and the creation of SideStart SB™. The pursuit of higher yielding soybeans!
BETA testing is your opportunity to have a sneak peek into what we are testing and why, before it becomes a formal recommendation.
Yield Innovations is in the business of “innovating”! Coming up with the next new product or idea to help push your yields and profits to new heights is what we do. These ideas/products are often “outside of the box” concepts, such as SideStart SB™. Applying SideStart SB™ in a 2x2x2 or y-drop applications in 30” row soybeans is certainly not a common practice now.
However, it is formulation, product creation and real-world testing that can potentially make it a common practice in the future.
In 2024, we have placed on-farm BETA trials in three states. We are testing a yield-enhancing mix of products in 30” row soybeans, in both a 2x2/2x2x2 application and in y-drop applications.
Our 2024 BETA testing has us testing multiple mixes at different timings and application methodology, all in 30” rows. If we are confident in the results, we will have a late product release this winter. If the results are mixed, we will continue the testing in 2025 with new mixes/timing.
Yes. Simply ask your Sales Agronomist or Yield Consultant for testing protocols and you can be added as an on farm testing location.
